Chef and Owner
Chef Suleka comes from a long line of cooks and restaurant owners, however her career started as a designer in architecture. Her architecture background come in handy when her sister and mother wanted to open a restaurant in Roseville, Ca in the early nineties. Today, she manages her restaurants, Thai Basil in Midtown and Veg - vegetarian cafe & bar on the 2nd floor above the restaurant.
Suleka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from UC-Davis, Ca
