Passionate about authentic Thai and home cooking quality, Prayoon Sununsangthong lead her daughters, Wannipa, Kannika and Suleka to open Thai restaurants in Sacarmanto area in 1994. Since then, Thai Basil is the most awarded as BEST Thai restaurants in Sacramento area by many publications including Sacramento Magazine and SN&R.

Suleka Sun-Lindley, co-founder of Thai Basil with her sister and mother in 1994. Graduated with BS in Environmental Design, UC Davis, and Culinary Institute of America - Elite Program with certificate of completion 2016.
